Tomatillos Guacamole Recipe

Tomatillos mixed with tomatoes, white onion, avocado, jalapeno peppers, fresh lime juice, and seasoned with garlic, salt and pepper. Tangy guacamole perfect as a side to poultry and white fish.
Ingredients -
 
3 Tomatillos
1/3 cup chopped White Onion
1/3 cup chopped Plum Tomato
3 tablespoons chopped Fresh Cilantro
1 tablespoon Fresh Lime Juice
3/4 teaspoon Kosher Salt
2 ripe peeled Avocados
2 Jalapeño Chili Peppers
1 Garlic clove, minced
 
Preparation:
 

1. Seed and coarsely mash avocados.

2. Seed and finely chop jalapeno peppers.

3. Peel paper husk from tomatillos. Wash, core, and finely chop.

4. Combine tomatillos, white onion, plum tomatoes, fresh cilantro, fresh lime juice, kosher salt, avocados, jalapeno, and garlic.

Tomatillos
Tomatilos are found in supermarkets and produce markets. Wrapped in a papery husk, tomatillos should be firm to the touch.

Jalapeño Chili Peppers
For a milder guacamole substitute canned green chile peppers. They are much milder than jalapenos and offer a smooth texture.
