Guacamole Dip

Classic, spicy guacamole dip. Avocado, roma tomato, sweet onion, and serrano chilies, combined and seasoned with garlic, cilantro, lime juice, salt and pepper. Add hot pepper sauce, to taste.
Ingredients -
 
3 Avocados, peeled, pitted, and mashed
Juice of 1 Lime
1 teaspoon Sea Salt
1/2 cup diced Sweet Onion
3 tablespoons chopped Fresh Cilantro
2 roma (plum) Tomatoes, diced
1 teaspoon minced Serrano Chilies
1 teaspoon minced Garlic

Sea Salt, to taste
White Pepper, to taste
Hot Pepper Sauce, to taste
 
Preparation:
 

1. Combine avocados, lime juice, and salt.

2. Fold in onion, cilantro, tomatoes, serrano chili, and garlic.

3. Season with additional salt, white pepper, and hot pepper sauce.

Cooking Tip

Serrano Chilies
Adjust the amount of minced serrano chili you add to the recipe, depending on how hot you like your guacamole. For a great deal less heat, substitute minced jalapeno peppers for the serrano

Fresh Lime Juice
Fresh lime juice is definitely the right choice for guacamole dip, but fresh lime juice can be over powering. Add lime juice one teaspoon at a time, and taste.
