Here is a guacamole recipe prefect as a side dish or for serving as a dip. Recipe is free of any ingredients adding real heat.
Ingredients -
3 medium Ripe Avocados, peeled and pitted
1 tablespoons Lime Juice
3/4 cup peeled chopped Tomatoes
1/4 cup finely chopped Onion
Salt, to taste
Preparation:
1. Mash avocados.
2. Fold in onion and tomato. Mix well.
3. Add lime juice and salt, to taste.
Variations and Recipe Ideas:
Separate finished recipe into two parts and season one half with tabasco or salsa for guests who like a little heat in their guacamole.

Tomato Selection
A good firm tomato flesh is highly desirable for guacamole. Be sure to remove as much of the liquid and seeds from the tomato so the guacamole remains firm.
