Bacon Guacamole

Bacon guacamole is a great brunch side dish. Makes a prefect dip for chips, crackers, vegetables, and a great spread for small hard breads slices. Serve bacon guacamole with your favorite egg dish or as part of a breakfast omelet.
Ingredients -
 
5 medium Ripe Avocados, peeled, pitted, and mashed
1 large Tomato, seeded and finely chopped
1 medium Red Onion, finely chopped
1 clove Garlic, minced
3 slices Bacon, cooked until crisp, drained and crumbled
Salt and Fresh Ground Black Pepper, to taste
dash Hot Pepper Sauce, to taste
 
Preparation:
 

1. Fold avocados with tomatoes, onion, garlic and bacon.

2. Season with salt and pepper, and a dash of hot pepper sauce.

Try a hickory smoked bacon in your bacon guacamole, or substitute cooked and diced canadian bacon, ham, or procsuitto

Hot Pepper Sauce
Substitute your favorite salsa for the hot pepper sauce to add additional flavors and textures. For more kick add diced jalapeno or serrano chilies.
